HOW TO REQUEST A QUOTATION FOR TYRES

We will need to know the size of your tyre and the quantity required. Please use our tyre size guide diagram below to establish your correct tyre size. Once you have this, we will be happy to quote for a suitable tyre make for your vehicle.

All quotes include the price of the tyre, balancing, new valve, fitting and the disposal of your old tyre. The only extra cost is VAT

 As long as the tyres are in stock we will aim to fit them the same day. If this is not possible we will fit them the next day or at any time convenient to you.

 

 

 

Tyre Tread Depth Law

Current tread depth legislation requires that car tyres must have a minimum of 1.6mm of tread in a continuous band throughout the central ¾ of the tread width and over the whole circumference of the tyre.

To help drivers recognise when their tyres are nearing the legal limit, tyres are manufactured with tread wear indicators in the grooves (pictured left).

However, despite the law, it is universally recognised in the tyre industry that the legal limit is wholly insufficient to protect drivers in adverse driving conditions. Drivers are therefore recommended to consider replacing their tyres when the tread depth reaches 3mm.
